Zesty Lime Pie
A simple recipe for a delicious pie that is great for any level of chef!
Ingredients:
Cinnamon Almond Crust
- 160g of cinnamon flavored biscuits
- 65g roasted salted almonds (easy to roast yourself in the oven)
- 2tbsp granulated sugar
- 70g unsalted, melted butter
Filling
- 2 (400ml) cans of sweetened condensed milk
- 180ml fresh lime juice (about 5 limes)
- 4 large egg yolks
- garish ideas: lime zest, lime slices, almonds, or whipped cream
- Preheat oven to 175 degrees C
- In a pan, cook ground beef until browned. Add onions and garlic, cook until softened.
- Stir in marinara sauce and oregano. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Drain pasta and mix with the sauce.
- Serve with Parmesan cheese if desired. Enjoy!
